Our final concert of the season will be something new - The Marine Band Apple Fest - and it is scheduled for October 11, 3pm at the Jordan Lutheran Church Family Center, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.
The concert Master of Ceremonies will be none other than WFMZ-TV Channel 69 news anchor Rob Vaughn. Along with great music there will be door prizes, raffles (including Iron Pigs tickets, and we all know how hard those are to get), apple goodies and audience participation.
Tickets are $12, children 6-12 and Seniors over 60 will be $10. For ticket information call 610-398-3898 or 610-298-2912. You can also get tickets by sending your check made to Marine Band, Inc. and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Marine Band, Inc., 1610 Applewood Drive, Orefield, PA 18069.
